The IR Sensor Module is an infrared-based obstacle detection sensor used to detect objects in front of the sensor without physical contact. It works by transmitting infrared (IR) light and detecting the reflected IR light from nearby objects.

This module is commonly used with Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller projects.

It features an adjustable potentiometer that allows the user to change the sensor's detection sensitivity/range.
